Meet your therapist:

I’m here to meet you where you’re at.

I provide individual and family psychotherapy for children, teens, and parents.

Located in Central Austin, with in person and virtual session options.

About My Approach:

My foundational belief is that all children and teens deserve access to mental health care. Life can take many twists and turns, and our children experience these things as well. Behavioral challenges, family changes, school issues, or difficulties with peers/siblings among many others, are all reasons children and teens come to therapy. I take a holistic approach when working with clients that includes parents and often-times other adults the client spends time with (think teachers, psychologists/psychiatrists, or coaches). By connecting with the other people on your child’s team I’m able to be a more effective therapist. My goal is to understand your child and assist in making positive, lasting change to make life more enjoyable. Therapy is a space where your child can be seen, heard, and be their authentic self, this is done by building a strong and nurturing rapport while maintaining a safe and caring environment.

I believe wholeheartedly that therapy works by helping understand ourselves better, stopping behavior patterns that aren’t working and improving interpersonal relationships.

I am committed to providing culturally inclusive, LBGT +affirming, and trans-informed practice, and continue to do the work to ensure I provide quality culturally-informed and sensitive care.

My approach takes in several factors including: developmental stage, current life stressors, familial history, and potential mental health diagnoses.

From there I create and individualized treatment plan for your child/teen that may include Play Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solutions-Focused or Structural Family Therapy.
