What is the frequency of Sessions?

Sessions are held on a weekly basis, at the same time each week. Especially in the beginning it is important to come weekly to build a solid working relationship. As we make progress towards our goals, we will taper off to every other week or as needed.

How long will my child or teen be in therapy?

There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to therapy. Research shows that Play Therapy typically lasts 6-8 months, it can sometimes be shorter or longer depending on each client. Sometimes, clients achieve all of their initial goals and transition out of therapy but later (sometimes years later!) other issues arise later and they will return! Everyone is different, and that’s ok.

What is the cost?

Individual Child or Teen - $170

Theraplay - $185

Initial Parent Consultation - $200

Parent Consultations and Parent Coaching - $195

Sliding Scale - $60-$120 (these are currently full)

Do you take insurance?

Currently, I do not accept insurance. I am considered out-of-network for all providers, I can provide a Superbill each month that you can submit for reimbursement. It’s helpful to check with your insurance company to see what out-of-network services are covered. I’m happy to help with any questions you might have about this.
